Perez Art Museum: What You Need to Know

In order to visit the Perez Art Museum Miami, tickets must be reserved online ahead of time by members and visitors alike. New hours of operation, as well as safety precautions, have been put in place because of Covid. All with the goal of ensuring that guests are safe and comfortable in the museum.

Currently, all visitors and staff must wear face masks. They have also added hand-sanitizing stations and one-way paths to help social distancing.

General admission is $16 for adults. Children between the ages of 7 and 18 pay only $12. Students and seniors with ID can enter at a reduced cost of $12, too. The following groups are granted free admission to the art museum:

  • Children under the age of six
  • Active U.S. military and veterans with ID
  • Florida educators with ID
  • Health care professionals and first responders with ID
  • Visitors with a disability and their caregiver

The Perez Miami is closed Monday through Wednesday and open Thursday through Sunday. On Thursdays, the PAMM is open 11 am-9 pm while on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays it is open from 11 am to 6 pm.

Located at 1103 Biscayne Blvd, Miami, FL, 33132, the Perez Art Museum Miami sits on the far east side of Museum Park between Biscayne Bay and the Frost Science Museum.

Finally, you can park in the museum garage for $15. Space is limited here. You can also find more than a dozen public parking lots in the area. There is also self-parking within Museum Park and at the Omni garage.

Perez Exhibits, Collections, and Events

Make sure you take in one of the daily tours offered. This is the best way to explore the museum. There are a great variety of tours, including the features of the museum, special exhibits etc.

Tours are offered:

  • Thursdays at 5 and 6 pm
  • Fridays at 2 pm
  • Saturdays at 2 pm and 3 pm
  • Sundays at 2 pm

There are also tours available in Spanish at 1 pm every Saturday.

The Perez Miami also offers a free app that can help you engage with the artworks on display. The PAMM app helps to provide multi-media content, including videos of the galleries. It also has audio tours, an interactive map, and more.
