Best Amusement Parks in Miami
With so many amusement parks in Miami, we know it can be difficult to choose which ones to visit. But you’re in luck. We’ve listed our top five parks so you can skip the research and get straight to your next adventure.
Catch Some Air at Planet Air Sports
Rather than listing every single activity that Planet Air Sports offers, it would probably be easiest to tell you what they don’t have. Everyone in your family is sure to find something that suits their fancy at this park.
Located in the heart of Miami and close to major highways, you and your family can enjoy the following during your visit:
- Trampoline Park
- Bowling Alley
- Indoor Ski Slope
- Ninja Course
Additionally, Planet Air Sports has ropes courses, climbing walls, an arcade, and more. They also host special events, such as birthday celebrations. You can view a comprehensive list of their attractions here.
Planet Air Sports charges by the day for their main attractions, like their trampoline park, and by the session for their stand-alone attractions, such as the ski and snowboarding simulator.
But if you’re looking to enjoy more than one type of attraction, don’t despair! Planet Air Sports offers combination packages, including an all-inclusive pass ($69.50) that allows you to access any of their main attractions. Check out their pricing page for more details.
To top it all off, they have excellent ratings, with a 4.4 average review on Google. Reviewers discuss that it’s a great place for families.

Go for a Race at K1 Speed Go-Karts
Ready to race? Then head on over to K1 Speed Go-Karts, where you can prove to your family that all those years watching the Indy 500 have finally paid off.
K1 Speed Go-Karts has two different tracks and allows you to host events like birthday celebrations and company parties.
And they use electric karts, which are not only better for the environment than traditional gas karts… They’re also faster!
When you’re all done racing, visit the Paddock Lounge so you can refuel with some food and drinks.
Just keep in mind that while K1 Speed Go-Karts doesn’t have an age requirement, they do require that juniors be a minimum height of 48” and adults a minimum height of 58” to participate.
To race, simply purchase the required annual membership ($7) and one of the packages below:
- One Race: $24.95

Alternatively, you can purchase a speed pass for $59.95, which includes two races, a t-shirt, and the annual membership all in one package.

Take a Splash at Grapeland Water Park
Looking to beat that Miami heat? Then go take a splash at Grapeland Water Park, located right by the Miami International Airport.
This is a great outdoor activity option for your family, as the park has water features that are suitable for all ages.
If you have toddlers or young kids under 48” tall, head to Shipwreck Island and hang out in the splash fountains and shallow play area.
You and your older kids over 48” tall can enjoy three fast slides, water shooting cannons, and splash fountains at Pirate’s Plunge.
Finally, for those who prefer a more low-key water adventure, relax pool-side at the Captain’s Lagoon or float the lazy river on the Buccaneer River Ride.
You can purchase an admission pass for the entire day, with prices listed below:
- Kids (2-13 years old): $7
- Adult residents of Miami-Dade: $12 (be sure to bring your ID!)

Grapeland Water Park is a seasonal park, open for summer vacationers! They close for the season between September and March every year.
Meet an Alligator at the Everglades Safari
The Everglades Safari is a great outdoor activity for nature-lovers. Located off US-41, Everglades Safari offers airboat tours of Everglades National Park.
During these 30-40 minute boat tours, you can learn all about the flora and fauna located in this wondrous ecosystem.
Everglades Safari provides both public and private tours, with the costs outlined below:
|Type of Tour||Length of Tour||Cost|
|Private||40 minutes||$250 for the first four passengers and $40 for each additional passenger|
|Private||60 minutes||$300 for the first four passengers and $65 for each additional passenger|
Should none of these options works for your group, Everglades Safari is happy to accommodate up to 45 people in large group tours.
After your tour, stay for the Wildlife Nature Show, where you’ll learn even more about the animals native to the Everglades. And if you need to stretch your legs, take a walk on the Jungle Trail, which leads to an Alligator Farm and Crocodile Exhibit.
Both the Wildlife Nature Show and Jungle Trail are included as part of public and private tours.
If you can’t make it this weekend, don’t worry: Everglades Safari is open 7 days a week, 365 days a year from 9am to 5pm. Find out how to get to the park here.
